Clouds and Fire

I got digital camera for my 18th birthday last year, nearly 15 months on and i still dont know what all the buttons do but i have figured out the basics. And with this basic knowledge, out of the hundreds of pictures ive taken every so often i get a good one.

This one is my laser pointer on the grass with a long exposure.

And this one is well fire, what is actually burning i wont tell you but its easy enough to come across around the house. you just ahve to have the patience to prepare it in order for it to burn like this.

This picture and the ones below were taken one dark night in september.

Thats some of the best pictures ive taken over the last few weeks. Now it is time to enjoy this lovely warm weather and hope that the upcoming exams will be air conditioned.

blogging and me

Welcome friends, family and people just passing by.

Here i will endeavour to fill you in on life at the University of Technology, Sydney and any other crap i feel like writing about. Firstly i will admit i have stolen/was inspired by the format of the blog http://sydneyspy.blogspot.com by my friend tonch. He is a champion that guy and his blog is well worth checking out. But anyway how about some pictures.

Thats building 1 at UTS taken from the alumni green (which is a pitiful excuse for a grassed area at the moment because most of the area is a construction site. But when building 4 is all finished i believe it will be a very nice area, at least according to the model and artists impressions of the finished area.) Although the construction in the science faculty building is a bit irritating when having to put up with jackhammering during lectures, the end result will be worth it, bits of the facade covering the building are slowly coming down to reveal a sleek modern kick arse building and some of the new labs are finished. The first year chemistry labs were finished at the start of this semester and are really white.

I also like scuba diving

so i will also keep your posted on all the latest news both political and entertainment related from the deep blue.

And without a doubt the greatest band in the world is . . . Pearl Jam.

I cant wait for them to come back to australia. . . I'd also love to see Audioslave live as well, any

way here is a picture from Pearl Jams september 1st concert at the Gorge in the US.
